Our first fair back at Kensington was a great start to the year, with some truly amazing vintage on show from the 70 stallholders who joined us. Stand out items were some great pieces from Biba, who were once located just down the road from the venue in the 1970s, as well as vintage kimonos, linen embroidered pieces from Hungary, 1930s chiffon frocks, French workwear and 1930s-1950s heels from the personal collection of Bimp Tulip vintage.
We've been working hard on our events for the new year when we'll be temporarily shifting venue to Kensington Town Hall from February to June 2018 during a period of planned renovations at Chelsea. We're actually returning to the original venue that 'Frock Me' was started in, when it was part of a 'Decorative Arts' fair (see one of the original flyers below). Moving the fair will allow us to showcase even more vintage fashion & textiles from more stallholders than at Chelsea Old Town Hall which we're looking forward to. There will be more than 65 stalls from the best vintage dealers from across the UK and further afield.
The building is a Brutalist designed space by Sir Basil Spence just off High Street Kensington (minutes from the tube station there). We hope you can join us there!
Our last fair at Chelsea Old Town Hall was also our last event there for a short period, due to planned renovations at the historic building. We will return in early October 2018 and until then will hold our February, April and June 2018 vintage fairs at Kensington Town Hall which is just by the tube station at High Street Kensington. More info here.
Despite the snowfall throughout the day we had a great end of year fair- a few photos below. Highlights included knitwear by Bill Gibb, Ossie Clark moss crepe dresses, lots of great Biba pieces and sequins of course!
In just a little under a month we'll be back on the King's Road for our last vintage fair of the year! 2017 has passed by so quickly and we're excited to have added another date so that our traders can bring their finest winter picks & rare vintage finds to Chelsea Old Town Hall in December.
A little inspiration from our Pinterest page below & from past fairs ✨
This month we had another busy day at Chelsea Old Town Hall! Lots of design inspiration including pieces from Janice Wainwright, Ossie Clark and Biba alongside some great textiles and vintage designer accessories were on display. We're already planning our December fair for this year which will be our last for 2017. Details here.
We've just added another date to our fairs for this year! We'll now also be holding a vintage fair on Sunday 10th December at Chelsea Old Town Hall, just in time for Xmas!

A great start to the autumn/winter season of our vintage fairs was had this September with avid shoppers and designers who came to visit us at Chelsea Old Town Hall. Favourites from the fair were detailed sequin capes and jackets, embroidered bohemian blouses and pieces from 1970's designers such as Janice Wainwright and Yuki. There were a few new faces to the fair as some of our regular stallholders were still on their travels and they made a fine addition to the day.
We'll be returning in mid October for our next event so not too far away on the horizon. A few pics below..
We're back this weekend, on Sunday 3rd September, so looking forward to it after the summer break
Alongside Frock Me, we've been running our antiques fair in central London since the 1970's. Held at the Edwardian Lindley Hall in Victoria, which was originally designed for floral displays, the building alone is a stunning setting for an event. A few photos of our recent events are below.
At each fair we try and capture just some of the amazing pieces our stallholders have brought with them before they get snapped up! We thought we'd share a few of our favourites here.
We held our vintage fair of the summer last weekend and thought we'd share some snippets of the day.. As ever, there was some truly inspiring vintage on display, with vintage Ossie Clark blouses, embroidered kimonos and 1970's bohemian dresses proving to be as popular as ever.
We'll be writing on here every so often detailing the latest events and exhibitions we've visited, favourites from our vintage fairs and musings on life!
